So many people today THINK they can play guitar ( Some Think I'm one of them but I Practice every day, I can play 20 or so Riffs/songs, and I can Improv pretty well ) Just because they've played Guitar hero, Or Seen someone play, or even Held a guitar. One example, At my local Guitar center (Not that local by the way) Some 8 year old with a Squier micro strat, came up to me when I was minding my own buisness tuning and playing as I usually do, saying " You suck, I can can Pway (Actually said Pway) better than you" and started playing some random ass, Burnt out christmas carol, then I proceeded to to turn the gain all the way up on the line 6 ( Omg Advertising ) 10000000000 watt amp I was messing around with and proceeded to tear up this random quilt top Ibanez (String sat a little high off the fretboard but I managed) and put Lil' Santa to shame with some Improv shit he proceeded to say "How did you do that, it sounds like two guitars" ( I was tapping ) and made him walk away in shame. Don't judge someone by their preferences in Guitar but by how well they play, Listen to them play before you Demean them.
