I'm in a band, and I had a show Sunday night, we were playing last, so I stood in the crowd and listened to all the other bands play, Most were pretty good, one or two sucked... Oh well.

Anyways, to the point, I was standing near the pit, I usually avoid it if we're playing last but, I didn't really have a choice in the matter, anyways, this one drunk Douchebag decided he'd knock the shit out of everyone, he went around punching random ass people... I was one of those people, I hit him back,a nd he got pissed, he wasn't a very big guy, his friends damn sure were though....

They proceeded to beat my ass right there on the floor, by the time the security guards pulled them off of me, I was already pretty fucked up, My chest was bruised, my face was bleeding, and I have a concussion from getting kicked in the head 12 too many times, I would have gotten thrown out too, but whats a band without the lead guitar? I got off lucky, but I played like a God that night...

So many people today THINK they can play guitar ( Some Think I'm one of them but I Practice every day, I can play 20 or so Riffs/songs, and I can Improv pretty well ) Just because they've played Guitar hero, Or Seen someone play, or even Held a guitar. One example, At my local Guitar center (Not that local by the way) Some 8 year old with a Squier micro strat, came up to me when I was minding my own buisness tuning and playing as I usually do, saying " You suck, I can can Pway (Actually said Pway) better than you" and started playing some random ass, Burnt out christmas carol, then I proceeded to to turn the gain all the way up on the line 6 ( Omg Advertising ) 10000000000 watt amp I was messing around with and proceeded to tear up this random quilt top Ibanez (String sat a little high off the fretboard but I managed) and put Lil' Santa to shame with some Improv shit he proceeded to say "How did you do that, it sounds like two guitars" ( I was tapping ) and made him walk away in shame. Don't judge someone by their preferences in Guitar but by how well they play, Listen to them play before you Demean them.
